The Como Park Zoo and Conservatory is just five minutes from downtown Saint Paul, and offers plenty of options for unique wedding venues. The Sunken Garden within the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory is an iconic destination in Saint Paul, featuring beautiful seasonal flowers and a garden pool under a gorgeous glass dome. The Sunken Garden is available for 90 minutes rentals, including any setup and teardown. Rentals include up to 10 chairs, with options for a table, sound system, and candelabras to line the pool for additional fees. The Sunken Garden is available during non-public hours for exclusivity of the space.

Urban Growler is Minnesota’s first women and LGBTQ-owned microbrewery, and a versatile wedding venue. Their Barrel Room features exposed brick and beautiful natural light. It comes equipped with an audiovisual setup, private bar, private entrance, and private facilities. And with an in-house catering option, free parking, and gender-neutral bathrooms Urban Growler offers a variety of flexible rental options.

Saint Paul College Club is a gorgeous renovated Georgian style mansion. This historic venue offers indoor and outdoor options, an in-house culinary team, and a personal on-site event coordinator. Just 2.5 miles from downtown Saint Paul, and 5.5 miles from MSP, it’s location is convenient for local and out of town guests. And with plenty of add-ons including decor and bartending services, Saint Paul College Club is truly a customizable, luxury venue.

For couples who truly want to entertain their guests, look no further than Can Can Wonderland. This colorful amusement center is known for its indoor artist-designed mini-golf course, over 125 vintage arcade games, two performance stages, and close proximity to BlackStack Brewing. And with a full commercial kitchen, custom catering options, use of A/V capabilities, and plenty of parking, this space has more to offer than just fun aesthetics. Since Can Can is a public space, their options for full venue buyout, or dedicated stage rentals are great options for weddings.

The Lowlands is an ideal venue for modern couples looking for an intimate gathering space. Located just across the river from downtown Saint Paul, this venue offers a beautiful view of the skyline. If you want the Vegas-style wedding without the flights, then The Garter Toss is the venue for you. This “dive bar of wedding venues” is located in the heart of Saint Paul and offers a non-traditional venue at an unbeatable price. I love how offbeat this venue is, with their completely thrifted decor and furniture. With no required caterers, and the freedom to bring your own booze, you won’t find a better deal on an intimate venue with alternative vibes. Rentals include tables and chairs, an in-house officiant, free parking and more.

If you’re looking for a unique speakeasy vibe associated with Minnesota history, check out the Wabasha Street Caves. Located just across the Mississippi from downtown Saint Paul, the WSC are a series of manmade caves dug into sandstone cliffs that became a gangster hangout during the 1930’s prohibition era. There are 12,000 square feet of finished space, with a dance floor, stage, and a 65 foot bar. The finished portion of the Caves are heated, and are ADA accessible. Rental options include a full beverage service, and free parking for up to 60 cars.

The historic Landmark Center is a great option for couples looking to get married in the heart of downtown Saint Paul. Beginning as a federal courthouse and post office, this renovated cultural center and venue has gorgeous Romanesque architecture. In the Landmark Center’s interior you’ll find marble finishes and a stunning four-story atrium with a skylight. You’ll also find four ornate courtrooms, which are also available for rent. Rentals include in-house A/V equipment, and set up and tear down of Landmark Center’s tables and chairs for up to 320 guests. Additional rental options include building exclusivity and entire building rental.

The Bell Museum, a natural history museum and planetarium, is perfect for couples looking to combine their love for science and whimsy. Located within the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus in Saint Paul, the Museum offers a variety of wedding package options and multiple event spaces. From a ceremony under the stars in the Whitney and Elizabeth MacMillan Planetarium to a full-museum rental, there are plenty of unique spaces throughout the venue for gorgeous photos and unique ways to entertain guests. Amenities include outdoor plaza(s) access, tables and chairs, use of in-house A/V equipment, a dedicated venue manager, and 120 parking spaces for guests.
